Book Review — “Who She Is” by Diane Byington

Faye Smith isn’t your typical teenager. Aside from the “normal” teenage angst, she’s starting a new school (again); her parents are miserable (again) and she just got elbowed in the nose in gym class. What starts off horribly, though, soon changes as Faye begins to find her way and make new friends. Her one true passion, however, is running. And with the help of her new best friend Francie and ex-track coach turned realtor Jess, Faye thinks she can make it all the way from Florida to the Boston Marathon. She will hit some roadblocks along the way — mostly from her horrible parents — but will she make it to the Marathon and find her ticket out of her awful home life? Get ready to fall in love with Faye, Francie and their group of supporters as they run their way into adulthood. This is a sweet, oftentimes funny and most of the time uplifting book about the power of love, friendship and determination. You will root for Faye and enjoy her journey as she finds out “Who She Is”. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. Disclaimer — I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Thank you BookSirens!!! #BookSirens
